Baki Şahin

Now

What I am building right now.

At the centre of my work is turning the scattered information inside everyday operations into a system people can actually use. These days my focus is on CRM, candidate and job matching tools, and controlled content production. This page is not a list of finished products; it is a current record of the work I am doing.

01

CRM and case management

Status: In development

Finding out where a case stands should not mean scrolling through a message history.

I am working on making candidate and process tracking more orderly in Bilge Berlin's team panel. When the candidate profile, job search status, document details and internal follow-up are disconnected, the same question gets asked again and again, and the answers can become inconsistent. My aim is to show clearly, for every case, where the current information is kept and which step comes next.

This work grows out of the existing operation. First the right data fields and permissions, then the screens and follow-up flow that make them genuinely useful. The value of a CRM lies less in filling in boxes than in whether someone on the team can find the information they need to make the right decision.

Current focusA clear distinction between candidate statuses, profile details, document fields and the everyday use of the team screens.

02

Candidate and job matching

Status: Local development

A match suggestion should not replace the decision; it should be the start of a good review.

Alongside the CRM, I am building a team tool that weighs a candidate's profession, experience, language skills and documents together with the requirements of a job posting. Finding similar words is not enough here. Missing information, differing definitions of a profession and the real conditions of a posting also have to be visible.

Verifiable job sources and review of the results by the team are part of this approach. I am developing the interface and data fields locally; until live search and production use are verified, I do not present the system as finished.

Current focusA candidate profile data structure suited to matching, the evaluation of job links, and human oversight.

03

Human-approved content flow

Status: Testing and review

Producing content quickly is getting easier; publishing it correctly is still an editor's decision.

I am adding an AI-assisted layer to Bilge Berlin's existing blog infrastructure for topic research, draft text and image preparation. The goal is to make research and preparation easier while leaving the final word with a person. Sources, wording and images need to be seen before publication.

That is why I think of draft, preview and approval as steps in the same flow. A blog post or social media post publishing itself is not the way of working described on this page.

Current focusReviewing and editing the draft visibly, and publishing it only with explicit approval.

04

My own digital space

Status: Designing

I am building my personal site not like a ready-made template but as a narrative you can walk through.

At bakisahin.com I am working on a visual world that brings together my software, ventures and experiments. A sense of material, motion and a three-dimensional scene are part of this world; readability, speed and accessibility belong to the same design decision. The page you are looking at is that work as it stands today.

Current focusThe coherence of the visual language, transitions between sections, and use across different screens.

When a piece of work matures, it moves to Works. What I learn while building finds its place in Writing. I keep this page as a changing record of the work on my desk.
